What are eBooks?

An electronic version of a printed book that can be read on a computer or handheld device designed specifically for this purpose.

Why would I select an eBook over a print copy of a book?

        > Mobility
        > Saving space
        > Convenience
        > Saving shipping costs and time
        > Cost savings of 50-70% of a print book
        > Ease-of-use

     I see two types of eBooks on The 'Berg Bookshop web site - which should I choose?   or 

    The Bookstore has partnerships with Universal Digital Textbooks and Red Shelf for eBooks.  The UDT eBooks are available in the store, as well as directly online; Red Shelf's eBooks are available online only from their web site.  Some courses will offer both companies; other courses will offer one or the other.

    Are eBooks available for all of my courses' books?

    No. They are title-specific and our web site will identify those available on a title-by-title basis.

    Will I be able to read an eBook on my device?

    Whom should I contact if I have an issue downloading an eBook?

    Contact either Universal Digital Textbooks or Red Shelf.  Their customer support phone numbers are on the eBook.  If you continue to have an issue, contact the Student Help Desk at 484-664-3375.
